Questing with Friends Problem? - Guild Wars Forums

Ok I've been searching everywhere for an answer on this even did a search in the forums and could not find an answer was hoping that you could either point me in the right direction or give me an answer =)?

Anyway, to make a long question short, I read how the PvE works. Lets say if I complete a quest without a friend and killed really cool bosses etc and then my friend logs in one day and says he wants to complete some of the quests I did can we do the same quest I did before together?

From what I hear that if I completed a quest and I try to go questing with him the boss or npc i killed is no longer there.

Basically, in "DIABLO TERMS" if I killed Diablo without my friend in another group or solo... and I group with my friend can he not see/kill Diablo in GW?

I too have heard that, but have also repeated quests for friends. From experience, I still faced the bosses again and my friend could see them. I've done that just this past bwe. However, you do not gain the xp that you already gained from doing it the first time.

So, I honestly do not know how that information works. I've heard it been said, but never actually came in contact with the situation.

I haven't specifically done this since the early BWE's in Kryta. What happened then was that I could indeed do the mission and see all the bosses but I didn't get the skill point(s) a second time. I can't say about the end of mission experience though...I just wasn't paying attention...and I din't know if it changed later since I never made it back to Kryta in later BWE's

You will certainly be able to do the quest/mission with your friend. However, since you already completed the mission/quest, you will not get credit again for doing the quest/mission, but your friend will.
